Full Circle Live and Tha Native on OTBHipHop.com

Once again Tha Native will be performing at San Manuel Casino with his mom’s band, Full Circle, this weekend. The show begins at 9:00 PM on both the 8th and 9th and will be inside the Tukut Lounge. So that’s Friday and Saturday night. Try not to miss it. And if you plan to come, make sure you arrive close to 9:00 PM and dress to impress. As I always say, there will be a line at some point to get in and they won’t let you in if you dress like a thug or like you just went to the gym. No joke. But anyways, it’s a lot of fun and this is a great opportunity to support Full Circle and Tha Native.

Another way to support Tha Native and his music is by listening to OTB Hip Hop on OTBHIPHOP.com. They play several tracks by him, maybe about 6-7. They just went live a few months ago, although the official launch was more recent than that. At this time they are using a free online radio host that takes care of many of the costs associated with having a radio station. It’s very time consuming to get something like this started and hundreds or even thousands of dollars are spent in start up costs just for music alone.

But by having a free host that takes care of paying royalties to all of the artists, it saves them a lot of money and time since they also don’t need to keep track and make quarterly payments for playing the music that they do. But then there are certain things that they need to do and numbers they need to meet.

What are those numbers?

The numbers they need to meet are listening hours. Listening statistics are created and made available to the radio station for those hours as well as the country and/or state that they are coming from. Interestingly enough, the U.S. is not the country with the highest listening hours and number of listeners. It’s actually Germany and by a huge margin. Hungary, the home base of the station, would be number two. But anyways, the minimum listening hours doubles every three months for the first 9-12 months and if they don’t meet the minimum, goodbye free host.

Why should you care?

You should care because you are a fan or friend of Tha Native and currently, and as already stated, several of his songs are getting played everyday on the station and all throughout the day. On top of that, the station has been streamed to 7 countries in South America, 3 in Africa, 3 in Asia, 11 in Europe, plus Canada, Australia, New Zealand and, of course, the U.S.

So, the station has been streamed to about 28 countries, possibly more. And so that means that Tha Native’s music has possibly been listened to by people on every continent except for Antarctic. No statistics for that continent. Isn’t it great to think that people in 28 countries, within 6 different continents, have been exposed to music by Tha Native? It’s an exciting thought to me and hopefully to those of you who read this far into the blog. And thanks for that.

All we ask from you today is to listen to OTBHIPHOP.com so that they can continue to use their free host thus allowing Tha Native’s music to be heard literally all around the world. The list of countries that are listening to the station is growing regularly and we will be even more excited when hear that every country in Europe has listened to the station knowing that they have all possibly heard songs by Tha Native.
