Torres Empire Los Angeles Supershow
Hello everyone! Thank you to all you loyal supporters of Tha Native and Tha Native Blog. We appreciate you spending your valuable time keeping up with Tha Native and all that he does. And so what is he doing next? Tha Native will be live July 22, which is next Sunday, at the infamous Torres Empire Los Angeles Supershow; which is being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
If you are familiar with this event or read the last blog, you know that this is a low rider car show plus food, live music and more. But what was not included in the last blog was the fact that Danny Trejo will be hosting the event. Who doesn’t love Danny Trejo and all of his classic roles in like a million different movies? In addition he has been on several TV shows, is a playable character in a couple of video games, does voice acting, been in several music videos. If that’s not enough, he owns several food establishments in Los Angeles and apparently has the most famous tattoo in the world on his chest, the woman wearing a sombrero. Yes, that’s him.
Well anyways, get some tickets and come hang out with Tha Native. He’d love to take a couple photos with you. You can get your tickets at the event’s website, which is: torresempire.com or on the day of the event you like to put things off. Lazy!
The LA Convention Center is located at 1201 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90015. The Show begins at 10:00am, although I understand that the time 8:30am has been mentioned in the past. The doors may open around 8:30am or maybe 9:00am. I’m not completely sure at this time. But here is what I can quote directly from the main man himself, Mr. Torres. Under his Instagram name, torresempire66, he responds to a follower, “yes show starts at 10am.” There is also a Facebook event that I saw stating Sunday, July 22 at 10 AM - 5 PM. But what’s really important is to get there before 10:00am because Tha Native is scheduled to go live at 10:00am.
I also just found on the Torres Empire website an event schedule right on the home page. This is where I learned that Tha Native will perform at 10:00am. In addition it states, “ Doors open at 10 AM.” I’m not sure how that works exactly. Doors open at the same time the first artist goes live. My advice, again, is to arrive early.
Here are the rest of the performers and their times: 10:30-11:00 Trish Toledo, 11:15-11:45 DJ Livia and the Monster Kids, 12:00-12:30 Lil Rob, 12:45-1:15 Baby Bash, 1:30-2:00 Chingy, 2:15-2:45 WC, 3:00-3:45 Tha Dogg Pound, 4:00-4:45 Too Short, 5:00-6:00 Awards Ceremony. You saw that correctly; Too Short to close the show. And did you know, Too Short will be on Tha Native’s single #EWTIG? Look out for that in the future.
Last thing; real, real important; Online ticket sales will end July, 16th. Tickets will be available at the door of the event. So get them tickets ASAP or plan to get them at the door. Another reason to go early if you can’t get them online. We hope to see you there. Bye for now.
